About the Chukar:
- Native to Southern Asia and the Middle East, the Chukar was introduced to North America as a game bird species.
- Found in the Western United States, the Chukar can be found in desert canyons and rocky cliffs.
- Their diet consists of leaves, berries, seeds, and insects; very similar to that of the Gambel's Quail.
