About the Rosy-faced Lovebird

  • Native to the dry forests, valleys, and cities of southwestern Africa, introduced feral populations can also be found in Arizona.
  • A common bird in the pet trade, the Rosy-faced Lovebird is commonly known as the Peach-faced Lovebird.
  • Rosy-faced Lovebirds are monomorphic, meaning the males and females have the same plumage coloration.
